Barcelona teen Gavi emotional after debut: The happiest kid in the world

Barcelona teen Gavi was floating after making his debut in their victory over Getafe.

Barca coach Ronald Koeman gave the nod to Gavi, who came off the bench 73 minutes in the game with Getafe to replace Sergi Roberto.

The 17-year-old midfielder discussed his official debut for the Blaugrana and expressed his joy for having the opportunity to make his dream come true at the Camp Nou.

"Right now, I am the happiest kid in the world," Gavi told Barca TV.

"Since I was young, I had that dream of making my debut in the first division at the Camp Nou and today I have been able to achieve it.

"A thousand things are going through my head. I was a little nervous. I went out to do the best I could.

"At times like this I remember my family, my friends, all the coaches, La Masia, especially Sergi Mila, who helped me a lot throughout my career."
