Barcelona striker Luis Suarez has dismissed talk of Lionel Messi considering retirement.
The Uruguayan believes that the Argentine's remarks about potentially retiring in the near future, which came during the Ballon d'Or ceremony, were widely misinterpreted.
"I think [Messi's comments] were misunderstood," Suarez told beIN Sports.
"First because you have to understand that Leo had just received a new Ballon d'Or [award] at that time, and he was happy and nervous because he is a human being like us.
"Messi will be around for a long time."
Suarez went on to make clear that Antoine Griezmann has acclimatised to life in Barcelona's dressing room.
"He is feeling very comfortable," he continued.
"In the dressing room he had a very good welcome, showing us that he came to help and try to get the trophies we want."
