Ronald Araujo and Moussa Wague are closer to being clear to play for Barcelona B.
Sport reports the two summer signings now have their paperwork from their respective countries in order.
They will still need a wait a few days for the documents to be validated and confirmed by the Spanish authorities so neither player is available for selection in the match against Atletico Baleares on Saturday.
Senegal defender Wague, who just turned 20, played at the World Cup in the summer. The signing from Eupen missed much of preseason with injury.
Araujo, from Boston River, is Uruguay's U20 captain.
