Robert Lewandowski admits he fulfilled a career ambition joining Barcelona.
The Pole says he always wanted to experience the LaLiga.
He told BILD: “It sounds repetitive, but I didn't want to stand in front of the mirror in ten years and tell myself that I didn't get everything out of my career, that I wasn't able to fulfill this dream of the Spanish league. It was in my head that this step is the right one, exactly now."
Lewandowski feels Bayern Munich can handle his departure.
He added: “They can handle it very well, even without a substitute for me. The players will have more responsibility when it comes to scoring goals and they will be able to grow in that role, they will score more goals."
