FC Barcelona have signed an innovative new sponsorship agreement with Intel that will see the tech giant's logo appear on the inside of team's playing shirts, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/. As the club's official technology partner and worldwide sponsor Intel will help Barcelona to improve the spectator experience at their 98,787 seat Camp Nou stadium via the introduction of new technology.
The Barcelona playing and coaching staff are also set to benefit from the deal, with each set to receive Intel's most up-to-date devices. Intel will also furnish the club's renowned La Masia academy with the latest technology.
Whilst financial details have not been officially disclosed, press reports suggest that the deal is worth US$25 million over five years.
