Barcelona president Joan Laporta admits they're competing with Tottenham for Djurgarden midfielder Lucas Bergvall.
The teen had appeared set to join Barca last month, but with the transfer window now closed, Laporta admits Spurs are offering a bigger offer.
He told RAC-1: "He is a fantastic player, whom Deco (the sporting director) has followed for a long time.
"As far as I know, he hasn't signed anything with anyone else yet.
"We have come up with an offer, we had everything ready with him and the club. Tottenham have offered much more money.
"Our proposal is to play in the B team and at the same time be with the A squad, but we will not be able to match Tottenham's financial offer."
