Barcelona president Joan Laporta insists he's maintained contact with Ronaldinho since his move to AC Milan.

"We want to remember all he has done for Barcelona," said Laporta. "Now he is returning to how we all remember him.

"It was best for everyone that he left Barcelona. It was a good challenge for him and we needed to begin a new cycle."
