Barcelona president Laporta: Matias Messi has apologised

Barcelona president Joan Laporta insists ferocious criticism from the brother of Lionel Messi isn't an issue.

Matias Messi attacked Laporta and Barca over their treatment of Leo before his move to PSG.

But Laporta said today: "Don't make me talk about Messi, he's a PSG player. I don't want to talk about players from other clubs, he's a PSG player and I want to respect them. About the brother, I take it down because he apologised."

Faced with a new question about Leo, Laporta insisted that "his words do not affect Messi's relations with Barça and Barça's relations with Messi".

The Blaugrana president was even "understanding" with Matías since "he's the brother and it was very sad how it ended. I wouldn't give it more importance. On the contrary, I have some understanding. The logic is that he has apologised and it's appreciated."
