Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu insists PSG have never made an attempt for Lionel Messi.

PSG owner Nasser El-Khalaifi has admitted his admiration for Messi, who has been linked with PSG this season.

However, before last night's Champions League win over the French, Bartomeu was adamant there'd been no contact.

"PSG have not asked me about Messi," he stated.

"Nobody in the world would think of signing Messi, nobody talks about it anymore."
