Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has taken a swipe at crisis club Real Madrid over the manner of Cristiano Ronaldo's departure.
While regarded as the club's greatest, Ronaldo left Real for Juventus last summer to little fanfare.
Bartomeu commented yesterday: "Cristiano Ronaldo? I can talk about how we said goodbye to (Carles) Puyol, Xavi and (Andres) Iniesta.
"In our case, when such an important player leaves, we made sure that it went well."
Ronaldo's first season away from Real will see his old club end it without any of the major titles - LaLiga, Copa del Rey and Champions League.
