Barca see Rodri as a replacement for captain Sergi Busquets as his contract runs down.

Sport says Barca are prepared to bid for Rodri this summer.

The midfielder recently penned a new deal with City until 2027 and has declared his happiness in Manchester.

However, there is an acceptance at City that former Atletico Madrid midfielder Rodri will eventually return to the LaLiga.
