Barcelona are moving to block Luis Suarez from moving to Atletico Madrid.
It was expected Barca would sign off on a pay-out for Suarez regarding the final year of his contract ahead of the veteran joining Atletico as a free agent.
However, ESPN says the Catalans are now performing a U-turn and demanding Suarez not consider Atletico as an option.
It's claimed as part of the pay-off arrangement, Suarez had to agree not to join Real Madrid, Manchester City, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain. But it's now emerged they're also insisting Suarez not move to Atletico.
Barca's board insist - on principle - they should not be paying Suarez to leave and strengthen a direct LaLiga rival.
