Former Manchester City captain Ilkay Gundogan admits the pull of Barcelona was too good to refuse this summer.
Gundogan led City to the Treble last season before leaving for Barca in a Bosman transfer.
He recalled: "As a child I loved the midfield with Busquets, Xavi and Iniesta.
"I've had seven fantastic and successful years in Manchester. Last season was glorious. Now I'm very happy to be here and I'm having a lot of fun.
"The most important thing is the love and attraction I've always had for this club. There is a certain DNA, a certain way of doing things in football and we have Xavi who knows this style like few others.
"I always admired him when I was younger. Having him here to train us is fantastic."
