Barcelona are pushing to sign Borussia Dortmund defender Thomas Meunier today.

AS says Barca have chosen the Belgium international as their right-back signing.

The Catalans intend to reach a deal with BVB over Meunier for a fee of €10m.

The only hold-up is the need for Barca to make room in their wage cap to satisfy Financial Fair Play demands. With Sergiño Dest, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang and Martin Braitwaite all potentially on the way out, that will create enough leeway for Meunier to be signed.

Meunier's versatility has convinced Barca to make their move, with the 30 year-old capable of playing at fullback, centre-half and in midfield.
