Barcelona are tracking Werder Bremen star Mesut Ozil. The manner with which he tore apart England's defence yesterday has only increased the interest of Barca in the Germany international midfielder.

Sport says Alex Hleb could be key in negotiations for Ozil.

Former Arsenal star Hleb is a favourite of Werder management and they would welcome him as a cut-price replacement for Ozil. If Barca are prepared to cough up big on the cash side of the deal, Werder will be willing to do business.
