Arsenal are favourites to land Croatian superkid Mateo Kovacic.
The 16 year-old is tied to Dinamo Zagreb and been likened to Barcelona star Lionel Messi.
Barcelona's El Mundo Deportivo says while Barca are interested, Arsenal are leading the race for the midfielder.
Kovacic is Austrian-born, but now a regular with Croatia U17 and has been watched extensively by Gunners chief scout Steve Rowley.
He already has made his first team debut for Dinamo and Croatia U17 coach Martin Novoselac said: "I haven't seen a youngster with so much talent since the days of Robert Prosinecki."
