Barcelona defender Jean-Clair Todibo has entered talks with Juventus.

Currently on-loan with Schalke, Todibo can be signed permanently by the Germans for €25m - but such a price is deemed too steep.

Juventus and Barca are in talks over the departure of Miralem Pjanic for the Nou Camp with the deal to take the form of a straight swap.

Sport says Todibo is wanted by Juve and personal terms are now being discussed, while a midfield teammate will also be included in the exchange. The two Barca players will be rated at €50m in total.

However, the stakes could be raised if Juve are willing to add Mattia de Sciglio to the equation.

Indeed, Juve have asked about Frenkie de Jong, but Barça made it clear that the Dutchman was absolutely non-transferable.
