Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo has avoided serious knee injury.

Araujo broke down during victory at Real Sociedad last night amid concerns of a serious knee injury.

But AS says initial scans this morning suggest the Uruguayan will miss only one to weeks due to a strain.

There is no breakage, so in principle he will miss this Sunday's game against Rayo Vallecano.

But he could already be available for next week against Mallorca.
