Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has broken ranks to enter pay-cut talks with the board.
Barca's senior players had rejected the board's demand of a 30 per cent cut on wages for all employees to ease pressure on the club's finances.
However, AS says Pique has negotiated terms with Barca about a salary reduction and come to an agreement.
The defender's move arrives as Radio Cataluyna reports Frenkie de Jong, Clement Lenget and Marc-Andre ter Stegen refused to put their name to the burofax sent back to the club on behalf of the players refusing to accept the pay-cut demand.
On the club's side, there remains hope of reaching a compromise.
