Barcelona star Lionel Messi is set to be fit for their Champions League meeting with Manchester City.

Messi has been missing for several weeks with a groin injury.

But according to reports in Spain, the 29-year-old is likely to back in action this weekend as Luis Enrique's side take on Deportivo la Coruna.

El Mundo Deportivo say the attacker will see some playing time for his side, leaving the door open for him to play against former boss Pep Guardiola next Wednesday when City travel to Spain.

The game is crucial as both sides are battling to top group C after pulling away from Celtic and Borussia Monchengladbach after two games.
