Barcelona coach Xavi has joked about Gerard Pique's leaked tapes.

In leaked conversations with RFEF president Luis Rubiales, published by El Confidencial, Pique was recorded negotiating for the Supercopa to be played in Saudi Arabia.

Xavi was asked today about the reports and said: "Extra sports theme.

"He is like that, very outgoing, he likes to be in people's mouths. In this sense we are antagonists. I am more diplomatic. I already know him. If I saw him with a lack of concentration, I would tell him, but I think this is a drug for him, it is adrenaline.

"I know him well, he has given us a brutal performance lately and we have missed him.

"It is very difficult. My opinion will not change anything. There are two people involved, one did a Twitch and Rubiales is doing a press conference. The questions are for them. I know Rubiales well, he is noble, he looks out for the good of all.
