Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde insists they'll play Champions League opponents Tottenham to win.

But Valverde also offered some hope to Tottenham ahead of their meeting on Tuesday by confessing that he will make changes from his usual starting line-up with top spot already secured.

"There will certainly be changes on Tuesday because, in the end, we are aware that we are already through so we will give some players a rest," he said.

"It comes three days after an important game against Espanyol, so it isn't in my plans to play Luis Suarez for two games in a row as he still has some discomfort.

"The important thing is that the players who take to the field do so knowing we face an opponent with everything to play for.

"Inter have nothing to fear, though, as we will look after ourselves and try to win with those we pick because it is an important opponent and competition for us."
