Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde admits Ousmane Dembele faces a spell on the sidelines after being injured in victory at Getafe.

Dembele lasted just 29 minutes in his first domestic start.

The suspicion is that the Frenchman suffered a hamstring injury, although that has yet to be confirmed, and Valverde suggested that the summer signing would know the full extent of his absence once further tests have been conducted.

"[Dembele] is going to spend some time out, he has a muscle problem and tomorrow he is going to have some more tests," affirmed the coach.
