Barcelona chiefs argue over plans for Felix

Barcelona coach Xavi remains unconvinced signing permanently on-loan Atletico Madrid attacker Joao Felix.

That's according to Okdiario's chief pundit Eduardo Inda, when speaking on El Chiringuito.

Inda said: "There are two questions regarding Joao Félix. Barcelona already knows the price the player would have if he wants to buy him next summer.

"Atlético wants to get rid of him. The price that Atlético for Barça has set is 50 million (euros), which is the amount that remains to be amortized.

"He cost 127, 77 has been paid and 50 remain to be paid, so it is the amount that Atlético has put. Barcelona would be willing to pay less than half of that amount. Around 25 million. He has been a ruin for Atlético.

"There is a mess in Can Barça because (sporting director) Deco and (president Joan) Laporta want to sign Joao to everything and Xavi opposes. He says that if they are going to spend what little money he has, he does not want Joao and he wants another player.

"There are three questions: he does not defend well, he does not make a difference and he does not have a Barça background."
