Barcelona director of football Andoni Zubizarreta is confident the players won't lose their focus ahead of the clash with Champions League opponents Benfica.

Barca go into the game in the shadow of the El Clasico against Real Madrid this weekend.

"These are two different competitions," Zubizarreta told reporters.

"Right now, we have to focus on the Champions League. Then on Wednesday we can think about the league again.

"It's still only October and there are a lot of points still to play for."
