Barcelona refuse to rule out a move for Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas. Barca are being linked with a £25 million bid for the Spain international and sports director Txiki Begiristain admits a deal could happen.
"It's very difficult to strengthen a team that has won the Treble," said Begiristain, "because to do so can lead you into financial problems."
Asked about Cesc, Begiristain added: "It depends on what you want to invest. If we invest a lot of money, it could happen. We do not know the amount needed. We have not asked Arsenal.
"If we think that the value is excessive, we will not try. I do not like to dismiss any player of such ability."
