Barcelona chief Robert Fernandez says Paco Alcacer knows he will be a 'back up' player.
The striker signed from Valencia on Monday for 30 million euros.
Robert says Alcacer understands why he's been signed: "He's mentally prepared to be a substitute.
"Suarez is the best No.9 in the world. He's on another level.
"Paco Alcacer is a really good player, he will bring things to the team, but he has to learn from the best.
"We were looking for a striker for when Suarez isn't playing. A player who is good in the area."
