Barcelona chief Robert Fernandez insists they showed great character for victory at Real Betis.

The Blaugrana are back on top of La Liga with 85 points ahead of Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid with three games remaining, and the result at the Estadio Benito Villamarin particularly pleased Fernandez.

"I liked the performance especially knowing that we faced a team that won't let you play, getting players behind the ball when you have possession."

"We have two extremely difficult games [remaining against Espanyol and Granada]. Atletico and Real are pressuring us but we only depend on ourselves, we will fight hard to win our games and I've no doubt we will win with force."
