Barcelona chief Robert Fernandez insists they want to keep hold of Alen Halilovic.

The midfielder is currently on-loan at Sporting Gijon.

“We are very happy with him. Things are going well for him, he is playing and growing. What we want is for him to play and be happy," said Fernandez.

“Our intention is for him to return to Barça. If he doesn't now then it will be later. We want to him to come back in the summer when we will evaluate the situation."
