Barcelona finance chief Javier Faus says they're determined to fight off Manchester United interest for Cesc Fabregas.

Faus admits United are pushing hard for the midfielder.

"Fabregas? He has a contract, the coach wants him to stay and he will remain so," declared Faus.

"Certainly, there are clubs interested, but we are not going to let him go."
