Barcelona chief Deco has warned Spain over teenage pair Lamine Yamal and Pau Cubarsi.

The pair could be involved in the Euros and the Paris Olympics this summer.

But Deco told Cadena SER: “We don't want them to play the European Championships and Games this summer.

"The Federation knows our idea. You can't play so many games, we saw what happened with Pedri. As for the future, we are already working on the renewal of both."

He continued: “The objective is to maintain what we have. Teams win because they keep the group for three or four years. The goal this summer is not to sell players, but to buy.

"(Joao) Cancelo and (Joao) Félix? Neither of them is ours. They are helping us a lot and we want them to stay with us."
