Barcelona sports chief Txiki Begiristain expects to hold new contract talks with Giovani dos Santos in the next two weeks.

With Israeli super agent Pini Zahavi now in charge of Dos Santos' affairs, El Mundo Deportivo says negotiations will open this month about an improved contract for the teenage Mexican.

Dos Santos isn't expected to demand an excessive pay-hike, but Zahavi is likely to attempt to keep an improved buyout clause at a reasonable figure. The youngster's current escape clause is set at £20 million.
