Barcelona captain Lionel Messi insists he has no influence on transfer strategy.
It's been reported as part of his current contract, a clause exists which hands Messi an influence on who is signed and who is sold at the club.
But speaking with Mundo Deportivo, Messi insists he stays on the sidelines in terms of the market.
He said, “Regarding transfers, there are people at the club who do it. It is up to them to choose what is best for the team.
"It is clear that in the current situation, everything will be more and more rare in the market and it will be necessary to be calm and to strike just to improve our team."
