Barcelona captain Andres Iniesta says fatigue was a factor for their 0-0 draw with Getafe.

Getafe became the first team in 15 months to stop Barca scoring at home.

"The months of January and February are like this," he said.

"We have the obligation and luck to be in every competition, which does wear you out.

Discussing Getafe and their defensive style of play, the midfielder refused to criticise their tactics.

"I prefer when opponents sit back because they're chances of earning something are reduced a lot," he pointed out.

"It's a question of whether or not we play well.

"We tried to the very end today."
