Barcelona presidential candidate Joan Laporta has accused the current board of "using" Luis Enrique after he penned his new deal.

Laporta also questions whether Enrique had a say in the signings they're attempting to make this summer.

"They exploited him before when they extended his contract (which runs until 2017). Our manager was clearly being used," Laporta rapped.

Laporta went on to claim that clarification was needed over whether Luis Enrique "has asked for the players" Barça are looking to sign.
