Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola has not received any contact from Chelsea.
The Guardian says sources close to Guardiola insist there has been no contact between the Barcelona coach and the London club to take over from Carlo Ancelotti.
Sources close to Guardiola have dismissed suggestions that he will leave for Chelsea in the summer. Although he is yet to sign a new deal with Barça and there have been some minor disagreements with the new regime at the club, that should not be interpreted as a falling out - or a prelude to a departure.
Guardiola prefers to sign contracts on a rolling yearly basis and, despite the evident stress at the Catalan club, is expected to stay for another season after this one. Chelsea rubbished the rumours today, calling them "total nonsense".
Those close to Guardiola also believe he is more likely to take a year's sabbatical when he does finally leave Barcelona before heading to any other club.
