Barcelona back in hunt for Liverpool striker Torres

Barcelona are back in the hunt for Liverpool striker Fernando Torres.

The Daily Star says Barcelona last night upped their interest in a move for Torres.

They want to take advantage of the difficult time he is having at Liverpool. Barca have always wanted him, since he was at Atletico Madrid but lost out to Rafael Benitez and Liverpool. Now they want to team him up with David Villa, his strike partner in the Spanish national team.

New president Sandro Rosell is planning a meeting with Torres' representatives Bahia International.

Torres would be welcomed into the Nou Camp dressing room, and is clearly out-of-sorts at Liverpool at the moment.
