Barcelona have announced they've made a formal offer to Arsenal for Cesc Fabregas.

Barcelona have made an official offer to Arsenal for Spain midfielder Fabregas, the Spanish champions have confirmed.

"Yesterday afternoon we presented a firm, written offer to Arsenal," Barca director general Joan Oliver said on the club website.
