Barcelona ace Miralem Pjanic rates Lionel Messi ahead of Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo.

Pjanic left Juve this past summer for Barca.

And before tonight's Champions League clash between Barca and Juve, Pjanic said: "With the passing of time we will be able to assess what these two players have achieved in these twenty years. They are incredible."

On Ronaldo, Pjanic said: "As a person and player he is spectacular. He is a true athlete who takes care of all the details."

On Messi, he said: "He is an alien. He is an absolute phenomenon, capable of doing anything with the ball."
