Barcelona ace Luis Suarez is determined to prove himself at the World Cup with Uruguay.

The former Liverpool striker is back in the tournament after being kicked out four years ago for biting Italy's Giorgio Chiellini.

Suarez was suspended from all football-related activity for four months, he was banned for nine international matches and he was fined £65,000.

“I want to make sure that this World Cup I leave with only good memories," said Suarez. “Four years is a long time ago now – but of course it is natural that I want to put things right.

“That means doing well personally and doing well as a team. I don't want to put any limits on what we can achieve because I believe we have such a good squad of players.

“We must concentrate on getting out of the group stages – then we can really start to dream."
