Barca Atletic coach Rafa Marquez insists he's not seeking the senior post.

Marquez has been linked with Xavi's job, particularly should Barca's coach step down before the end of the season.

But the Mexican told Mundo Deportivo: "I try to live in a bubble, I am very focused on the last part of the league, we focus all our energy on that. I don't know what is being said, for me this is an important lesson and an opportunity to grow."

After the 1-0 win against Lugo, the Mexican was satisfied with taking a three-pointer after two tough games.

"I think it was a good win, we showed a lot of character in the match, especially against a difficult opponent. The team showed a lot of character even with ten players after (Diego) Percan's injury."

Márquez has also been on the bench for Xavi's team during the season, an experience he appreciates.

"It has been an important lesson, a process that I enjoy. The goal is to continue to develop, and today I am just another Barcelona supporter cheering on the team," concluded the Mexican.
