Banned Fiorentina striker Adrian Mutu has entered talks with Fenerbahce.

Gazzetta dello Sport says Fenerbahce have made a €5.5m bid for the former Chelsea and Parma star.

They are also prepared to give Mutu a contract worth €3.5m.

The 31-year-old Romanian is currently serving a nine-month ban after failing two anti-doping tests in the spring.
