Mario Balotelli has made a formal apology to Inter Milan for his behaviour in recent weeks. The striker was seen in conversation with Inter coach Jose Mourinho yesterday morning and later released his apology via the club's website.
"I am sorry for the situation that has been created recently," Balotelli wrote.
"I am the first to suffer because I love football and would like to play and now I wait in silence to be able to return to being useful to my team.
"I don't want to have to think about the past anymore, but instead look to the future and the tasks ahead of me, ensuring that I am ready for them."
