Mario Balotelli thanks new club OGC Nice for the fireworks display upon his arrival to France.

Following much speculation, Balotelli finally found a new club in the form of the French Ligue 1 outfit.

The Italian international joined Nice on a free transfer from Liverpool and as the striker arrived, there just so happened to be a fireworks display.

Balotelli was certainly left pleased with the 'welcome' that he received upon the completion of the transfer and the 26-year-old has gone on to thank his new club through a video message.

Balotelli posted himself on Instagram showing the fireworks before saying: 'Merci, merci, merci, merci…'
