Genoa boss Davide Ballardini was thrilled with their amazing victory over AS Roma.

The Rossoblu were losing 3-0 on home turf at the 51st minute, but completed an extraordinary comeback with Rodrigo Palacio and Alberto Paloschi braces.

"We played a great game, even when we were losing 3-0. I hoped, but to be honest, I didn't believe in this result," said coach Ballardini.

"I want to thank our fans for their immense warmth, as their intensity kept us going even when we were struggling. No other stadium in Italy has a crowd like this."
