The future of Tottenham technical director Franco Baldini is in doubt.
The People says Baldini, who was recommended as technical director by Andre Villas-Boas only to fall out with the Portuguese, is now under scrutiny.
Villas-Boas was sacked on Monday after the 5-0 defeat by Liverpool - but club sources insist it was anything but a knee-jerk decision as his relationship with the board had become severely strained.
There is disquiet about the record £30million paid for Erik Lamela to Baldini's old club Roma. Lamela, 21, has struggled to settle in and, while Spurs will be patient as he speaks little English, Levy is not impressed after shelling out such a huge sum.
