Silvio Baldini is returning to relegated Empoli.

Baldini will replace Gigi Cagni, as confirmed by president Fabrizio Corsi last night: "I would have preferred to have appointed Baldini while we were in Serie A, but he can help us bounce back from Serie B next season."
