Bakary Sako says he'll play anywhere to help Crystal Palace.

The 28-year-old has predominantly been played as a winger throughout his career, including at Palace, but he can also play as a striker, or on the left side of midfield.

"I would do anything to help the team," he told the Croydon Advertiser.

"I think it is important for the team and at the moment we don't have a lot of strikers, but I will do my best wherever I am playing, even if it is not my [natural] position.

"It is good to have competition [for places] to keep the levels up and you have to do your best even if you are not playing in your own position."
