AZ Alkmaar midfielder Brett Holman is being linked with a move to Scottish Premier League club Glasgow Rangers.
The 26-year old, who saw his stocks rise immeasurably after scoring two fantastic goals for Australia at the World Cup, has become a key target of Rangers boss Walter Smith according to SportTimes.
Holman has struggled to nail down regular game time in the Dutch Eredivisie with Alkmaar so a move might be worthwhile, especially to a club who rate him highly.
An Ibrox insider said: "Brett can play in a number of positions and he certainly showed at the World Cup Finals he can perform at the highest level. Talks are on-going but he is high up on the wanted list."
