AZ Alkmaar will have scouts in the stands today for Almeria's clash with Barcelona.

The ambitious Dutch club will run the rule over Almeria striker Alvaro Negredo, who coach Hugo Sanchez accepts will be sold at the end of the season.

Negredo will leave Almeria only for a Champions League club this summer.

AZ could move for the ex-Real Madrid trainee as a replacement for Mounir El Hamdaoui.
